A little bit of Smögen
in a can of nicotine pouches

In the spring of 2024, a startup dream was born among friends and colleagues Christian, Magnus, and Patrik. A little later, their friends Elliot, Michael and Emma joined the adventure.

Together, they founded Smögensnus AB in the fall of 2024. Their dream: to create a timeless brand within the relatively new product category of nicotine pouches. "Timeless" is one of the company’s core values. In a market filled with brands that all have short, trendy names, we want to create a brand that feels as classic as the legendary Swedish snus brands General, Ettan, and Göteborgs Rapé.

With rich, mature flavors and a unique maritime-inspired design, we aim to craft nicotine products that look, feel, and taste authentic—just like our hometown of Smögen. It’s here, surrounded by salt-sprayed cliffs and the sea breeze from Skagerrak, that we find inspiration for our products.

We want every can of nicotine pouches from us to feel like taking home a piece of the Swedish west coast. A little piece of Smögen captured through our products.
